Well, am heading down to Supanova Sydney and Perth on Friday, so will be on the road for 8 days. Taking Angel Arias edit with me, as publication date had now been brought forward to October 3. Exciting to be on the final edits.

My sekret project is coming together and will be revealed in August. Can’t wait to share it with you!

Work on Tara Sharp 3 (Too Sharp!) is coming along and am meeting with some people in Sydney to help me with my research. Many thanks to those that have emailed me about publication date – as far as I know, it is October next year. If you wander over to the Tara Sharp/Delacourt site you can read some great articles and interviews by Kylie Fox, Mandy Wrangles and Janette Dalgleish. There’s also mention of Tara Sharp’s Driving Tour of Perth. You can find out what that is :)

My Parrish novelette has slowed down with other work taking precedent. I will finish it though, as soon as I get a spare window. Parrish would never let me forget about her!

Lastly, must share with you my new MDPWeb logo, designed by Brigitte Sutherland. Sweet, huh?

That’s what I’ll have to do in about a ten days when I get back from Melbourne Supanova. I’ll also need to remind myself that a writer writes and doesn’t just swan around the place talking to people. Which is what I’ve been having a great time doing! To add to the school and library visits I’ve done email interviews and blogs galore. At the moment I’m blogging for the whole week on the Random House blog. There are giveaways for Burn Bright going on, including winning the book and snaffling bookmarks and stickers.

I’m having my own MARCH MADNESS!

Pretty soon though it will be back to work and the year is going to be filled with Tara Sharp and Burn Bright #3. It should be huge fun. I LOVE my job.

Signing off with some pics from recent events – tty after the Supanova Extravaganza.

Tara Sharp is back in two more novels coming to you in 2012 and 2013. You can read all the details over at the Marianne Delacourt site. Needless to say I’m pretty excited about it!

Over at the Burn Bright site, were getting a bit crazy with only 12 days until the book is out. Over there you can see the photos of the staff with their special copies, and I’ve just updated the music page with the cover image for Yunyu’s song, Angel Arias. I’ve been adding some reviews as they come in, and you can now read chapter one for free. Don’t forget to tune into the podcast and listen to the premiere of Yunyu’s amazing song.

Also, I’ve got a couple of events coming up:
