Bundaberg Writefest

Well, as you will have seen from the flurry of Twitter and FB posts, I had a terrific time at Writefest. My workshops were well attended, and more importantly, the attendees were enthusiastic and ready to participate (even in the toilet paper game!). I ate fantastic nasi goreng and pizza, had a beautiful ocean view and got to do lots of book talk. Sandy, Cherie, Di and all the committee were amazing, and I’d like to give a special shout out to Dean Anderson who both sponsors the event and is a member of the Bundy Writers group. You are a true patron of the Arts :)

I was also fortunate to have an event at the beautiful Bundy library, quite possibly the most impressive library I’ve ever stepped foot in.

Author Talk @ Bundy Library

  • We loved having you, Marianne. Your library talk and WriteFest classes were well enjoyed – and everyone in Bundy is still talking about it (as you’ve probably guessed) x

  • Dean Anderson

Thanks Marrianne. Like you saw it truly is a group effort and I just play my part in helping with Writefest in the Bundy Writers club.

  • It was wonderful to have you at WriteFest, Marianne. Thank you for the great library talk and your workshops. We’ve had marvellous feedback on them.
