I’m looking forward to having some guest bloggers in the near future. They won’t all be writers but they will all be creative genius/talents; comic artists, actors, new media gurus, game writers, designers.

Somehow, I’ve had the good fortune in recent years to connect with some fascinating, funny, amazing people who I’d love you all to meet.

So come on back and bathe in the glow of an artistic singularity …

In addition to this site, I run two others: Marianne Delacourt and Burn Bright (my YA site). I’m hoping that each site will offer readers of my books slightly different things. Burn Bright (managed by Bec Stafford) is running a host of excellent interviews and profiles on interesting people. The Delacourt site will host the ongoing, free Tara Sharp whodunnits (in conjunction with Facebook) as well as book recommendations, golden oldies and book blog recommendations. This site, however, is the hub – the cornerstone. Here, I’ll be running regular competitions, and blogging my personal writing journey. I hope you’ll join me as I spread ‘word love’ across the intrawebs.

So … be sure to check out Bec and Burn Bright’s excellent profile piece on Morbid Pop Princess Yunyu, as well as recent interviews with wonderful YA authors Margo Lanagan, Kate Forsyth, Alison Goodman, Isobelle Carmody and Richard Harland. Meanwhile over at Marianne Delacourt reminisce about the ultimate road novels, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and On the Road.

This is the official site of Australian speculative fiction writer Marianne de Pierres, award-wining author of the Parrish Plessis and Sentients of Orion series. She also writes the Davitt award-wining Tara Sharp humorous crime series under the pseudonym, Marianne Delacourt.

If you’re a reader of Marianne’s The Night Creatures trilogy (Burn Bright, Angel Arias and Blaze Dark) you might like to visit the Burn Bright website.

Marianne is represented by Tara Wynne of the Curtis Brown Literary Agency, Sydney.

Welcome to my rocking new website! This time Parrish has led the way on the design which is taken from the US edition of Crash Deluxe with many thanks to Larry Rostant for permission to use his wonderful artwork. My heartfelt thanks also goes to Austin Designworks who have patiently dealt with me changing my mind and did a fabulous job. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I’ll be blogging from this page now, so check your RSS feed is up to date. Please browse the new pages and let me know if any links/ function don’t work. I’ve got RSI from uploading all the Parrish Fan Art but it’s been fun revisiting all the fantastic images. Click on any one of the images in the gallery and you’ll be treated to a rather cool slideshow.
